Advertising Positions & Specifications
There are three general types of advertising positions
that we offer: Page-Specific positions (appear on one
page of the publication), Category-Specific positions
(appear on multiple pages within a category of the
publication), and Global positions (appear on every page
of the publication). Each of these position types offer
unique benefits and exposure.
Page-Specific Positions
These ads appear on one page. Although they receive fewer page views than category and global ads, the visitors are highly qualified, meaning that they are very likely to be looking for information and links on that page's topic.
Category-Specific Positions
These ads appear on every page within a category. They offer greater exposure than do Page-Specific ads, and they capture visitors viewing pages with similar content.
Global Positions
These ads appear on every page in a site. They offer the maximum amount of exposure to our visitors.

Page-Specific Positions
Featured Listing
Description: These ads consist of a title linking
directly to your website and a short text description.
The ads appear above the regular Page Listings.
Availability: 3 Featured Listings per page.
Spec’s: Title: 50 characters; Text: 150 characters;
Image: None.
Featured Graphic Listing
Description: These ads consist of an image and a caption
linking directly to your website. Featured Graphic
Listings appear on selected pages ONLY where an image
will enhance the value of the ad. The ads appear at the
top of the page above the other listings.
Availability: 3 Featured Graphic Listings per SELECTED
page ONLY.
Spec’s: Title: 45 characters; Text: None; Image: 100x100
pixels.
Page Listing
Description: These ads consist of a title linking
directly to your website and a short text description.
The ads appear below the Featured Listings, and are
displayed in alphabetical order.
Availability: Unlimited Page Listings per page.
Spec’s: Title: 50 characters; Text: 150 characters;
Image: None.
Related Listing
Description: These ads consist of a title linking
directly to your website and a short text description.
The ads appear below the Page Listings, and are
displayed in alphabetical order.
Availability: Unlimited Related Listings per page.

Cover Sponsor
Description: These ads consist of a small image and a
title, both linking directly to your website, and short
description.
Availability: 16 Cover Sponsor positions on a Homepage,
and 6 Cover Sponsor positions on each Category Homepage.
Spec’s: Title: 25 characters; Text: 100 characters;
Image: 60x60 pixels - no text over images, or animation.
Category-Specific Positions
Right Sidebar Top
Description: These ads are image-only, and link directly
to your website. The ads appear above the Right Sidebar
on every page in a Category.
Availability: 1 Right Sidebar Top per Category.
Spec’s: Title: None; Text: None; Image: 120x120 pixels -
may be image-only, or may contain text over an image,
and/or animation.
Vertical Graphic
Description: These ads are the largest available on the
site; they are also image-only, link directly to your
website, and appear to the right of the Right Sidebar on
every page in a Category.
Availability: 1 Vertical Graphic per Category.
Spec’s: Title: None; Text: None; Image: 120x600 pixels -
may be image-only, or may contain text over an image,
and/or animation.
Category Footer
Description: These ads are short text ads linking
directly to your website, and appear toward the bottom
of every page in a Category.
Availability: 4 Category Footers per Category.

Global Positions
Left Sidebar Top
Description: These ads consist of one line of text
linking directly to your website, and are located above
the left navigation bar. They appear on every page of
the publication.
Availability: 2 Left Sidebar Top ads per publication.

Left Sidebar Bottom
Description: These ads consist of a small image linking
directly to your website, and are located below the left
navigation bar. They appear on every page of the
